Marketing Coordinator - Marketing & Promotions

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a coordinator to provide support in all aspects of marketing to promote revenue generation and increased attendance while engaging the Gators' fanbase. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing and executing marking plans for assigned sport(s); collaborating with other departments to enhance the fan experience at Florida athletic events; and managing various game functions for assigned sport(s). This position is expected to actively engage in all Florida Football home gamedays as well as other scheduled athletic events as needed. This position requires the incumbent to have strong customer service, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills; be organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated; be a team player with a positive attitude; work independently and as part of a collaborative team; multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment; engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds; and work a non-standard work week which will include nights, weekends, holidays, and possible overnight travel. Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or a related field One year of experience working in an intercollegiate or professional sports marketing environment Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Shoflo, and Click Effects Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or a related field Two or more years of experience working in an intercollegiate or professional sports marketing environment Working knowledge of NCAA and SEC rules and regulations Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including but not limited to health, dental, life, LTD, AD&D, pension plan (upon eligibility), athletic event tickets, employee events and recognition programs.
