Delivery Driver Sales Associate Hybrid
GEN Aspire, LLC dba Batteries Plus is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Delivery Driver / Store Associate to join our fast-paced team. This hybrid role combines on-the-road deliveries with in-store customer service, technical support, and warehouse responsibilities. If you enjoy variety, teamwork, and hands-on work, this position offers an exciting opportunity for growth. This role includes commercial deliveries, product transfers, recycling pickups, warehouse support, and in-store customer service. You will represent our brand professionally while ensuring customers receive excellent service both in person and on delivery routes. Primary responsibilities include: Delivery and logistics: Deliver products to commercial customers with professionalism and a customer-first mindset. Pick up used batteries and recycling materials from stores and customers. Transfer products between stores and the warehouse. Load, unload, and move heavy products (up to 75 lbs.; team lift up to 160 lbs.). Use pallet jacks and forklifts to organize and move inventory (training provided if needed). Store associate duties: Greet customers and provide exceptional service. Assist customers with battery and lighting solutions. Learn to repair cell phones, tablets, and program key fobs. Maintain a clean and organized store environment. Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed properly. Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately. Troubleshoot minor technical issues and support customer needs. Recycling and warehouse support: Process used batteries for recycling, including stacking, wrapping, weighing, and palletizing. Pick up and sort light bulb recycling materials. Assist with weekly pallet breakdowns and product distribution to stores. Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of customer service, driving, or warehouse experience. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to lift 65 lbs. independently and team-lift up to 160 lbs. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently. Ability to pass a background check for access to military bases. Familiarity with the Hampton Roads area preferred. Preferred: Forklift experience or license. Technical aptitude or interest in device repair. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Compensation and benefits: Pay rate: $14 to $17 per hour. PTO (varies by position). Bonus opportunities. Hands-on training in device repair and technical skills.
