Control Account Manager

The Control Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for managing scope, schedule, and cost performance for assigned control accounts supporting construction and infrastructure projects at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, South Carolina. This role ensures project work is planned, authorized, and executed in accordance with project baseline requirements and federal program management standards. The CAM serves as a key interface between project management, engineering, construction operations, and project controls teams to monitor performance, manage budgets, track schedule progress, and ensure accurate reporting of project metrics. This role plays a critical part in maintaining disciplined project controls and supporting Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting within a highly regulated federal project environment. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, project management discipline, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams to ensure project scope, cost, and schedule objectives are achieved. What You'll Do

Manage assigned control accounts by overseeing scope, schedule, and budget performance while ensuring work is executed in alignment with the approved project baseline. Coordinate with project management, engineering, construction teams, and project controls personnel to ensure control account scope is clearly defined and executed according to plan. Monitor project performance through earned value management metrics, cost tracking, and schedule analysis. Develop and maintain detailed cost forecasts, variance analysis, and corrective action plans when project performance deviates from baseline targets. Support the development and maintenance of work breakdown structures (WBS), control account plans (CAPs), and project baseline schedules. Prepare and deliver regular project performance reports including cost, schedule, and earned value data. Ensure all control account activities comply with federal project management requirements and applicable project control standards. Support project change management processes including scope changes, baseline adjustments, and schedule revisions. Collaborate with project leadership to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain alignment between project objectives and execution plans. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required to support project controls and program performance. What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 8+ years of experience in project controls, cost management, or construction project management. Experience supporting earned value management (EVM) and cost performance tracking on complex projects. Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and forecasting practices. Experience supporting large-scale construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex project performance data. Ability to communicate project performance metrics clearly to project leadership and stakeholders. Preferred Education and Experience Experience supporting federal government projects or highly regulated environments such as nuclear, energy, or infrastructure programs. Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and federal project reporting requirements. Experience supporting projects with ANSI/EIA-748 compliant earned value systems. Experience working on projects at Savannah River Site or other Department of Energy facilities. Experience using project controls software such as Primavera P6, Deltek Cobra, or similar project control tools. Licenses / Certifications Required Licenses/Certifications Valid driver's license.
