This is a 9-week internship program beginning the first week of June and concluding the first week of August. VyStar's paid internship experience will work with the Commercial Lending's Strategic Initiatives & Analytics team, supporting project planning and execution. The following are expectations of the role: Partner with the Commercial and Real Estate Lending teams to learn and support various projects that promote loan growth, sales efficiency, and lead quality. Expand knowledge of project management methodologies, principles, and best practices. Support project planning and execution duties. Shadow with various teams of interest within Commercial Lending to expand knowledge of the department's structure, objectives, and methods of success. All employees and business units, as first line of defense, are expected to proactively help identify, assess, manage, and report risks within their domain of work. To enhance a healthy risk culture and support our growth for good pillar, employees will maintain vigilance in safeguarding our operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory mandates. The Risk team serves as the second line of defense by providing risk oversight and credible challenge whereas the Audit team serves as the third line of defense by providing risk assurance. As an intern, you will: Get hands-on experience solving business needs Expand your team player capabilities Develop your leadership and business acumen Interact with senior executives Get paired with a mentor Expand your business network Join in community events And more Education & Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university Rising college juniors, seniors, graduate students, or thrive scholars Strong written and communication skills Flexibility to work with multi-disciplined teams Strong use of Microsoft Office tools GPA of 3.0+ preferred Participation in college organizations and the community Disclaimers and Work Environment: Nothing in this position description is an implied contract for employment.
