Marketing Coordinator Position

The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting our marketing operations and initiatives including campaign roll-outs, special event coverage, promotions, social media, etc. shaping how guests experience and engage with Bear Creek Mountain Resort. This position will work hand in hand with our Marketing Content and Design Specialist in helping to generate compelling and creative content. This position supports the Marketing Department in bringing the Bear Creek brand to life across digital, print, and in-person channels. Assist with design and production of creative assets for print, digital, web, signage, and advertising campaigns. Work with marketing team as an on-camera brand ambassador for live and recorded video content, including resort updates, event features, and seasonal promotions. Assist to capture, edit, and produce short-form video content (reels, sizzle reels, live condition reports, etc.) to highlight activities and offerings. Support the marketing team with the development and implementation of communication strategies that enhance the organization's image and reputation. Manage the donation and sponsorship request process. Maintain the marketing calendar, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are tracked and met. Research emerging digital trends and participate in creative brainstorming sessions. Monitor brand messages and comments across platforms to maintain a positive and responsive brand voice. Assist with drafting and distributing press releases, speeches, newsletters, blog posts, and other communications materials to relevant outlets and partners. Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage. Support marketing partnerships with leaders across departments (Hotel, Sales & Events, Food & Beverage, Mountain Ops, etc.) to identify promotional opportunities and create supporting marketing materials. Ensure all materials reflect Bear Creek's brand identity, tone, and quality standards. Assist with other duties as assigned to support the department. Acknowledge all guests and respond promptly to their needs, however busy and whatever time of day. Ensure unresolved incidents are reported to Manager/Supervisor Familiarity with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately Contribute to the team's success by accomplishing tasks and assisting with projects as needed Maintain knowledge and compliance with departmental policies, service procedures, and standards Work as a team member to ensure our guests have the best possible experience Understand emergency procedures and be able to apply them when necessary Report any incidents, property damage or injuries immediately to Manager/Supervisor Attend department meetings and training sessions as necessary Other duties as assigned by Manager and/or Supervisor Support Southern Management's Mission, Vision, and Values Comply with Bear Creek and Southern Management's policies and procedures
