Account Manager

Octus is a leading global provider of credit intelligence, data, and analytics. Since 2013, tens of thousands of professionals across hedge fund, investment banking, management consulting, and law firm verticals have come to rely on Octus to make better, faster, and more confident decisions in pace with the fast-moving credit markets. Our Account Management team is responsible for managing and growing existing relationships with buyside, advisory, and legal accounts within the United States through subscription renewals and account expansion, uplifts and cross-selling of additional Octus products. Our team is based in our New York City office, and operates on a hybrid, 3 days/week schedule. Account Management Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the renewal cycle for Octus' subscription relationships within the buyside, sell side, advisory, or legal sectors Manage key client interactions with a determined focus on expansion opportunities within accounts and subscription renewals targeting 115%+ net retention Collaborate with customer success to deliver excellent client service and customer experience Coordinate with Octus' product team to identify opportunities for product and platform enhancements Track and analyze KPIs and product usage on accounts to determine appropriate relationship management strategy What We Look For Experience in an account management role, renewing, upselling, and cross-selling solutions to the buyside, sell side, advisory, or law firms Strong ability to build relationships and business partnerships to meet and exceed net retention targets Proven success in hitting quota and retention targets Organized, detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and respond quickly; ability to keep on top of all requirements with multiple ongoing workstreams Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication Experience with Salesforce Octus Values Action Oriented Customer First Mindset Effective Team Players Driven To Excel At Octus, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth. The salary range estimate for an Account Manager is $95,000 - $130,000, plus a quarterly commission bonus. The actual compensation will be at Octus' sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors.
