Location: Macomb County, MI Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Estimator/Estimator to join our team in Roseville, MI. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects by analyzing plans, specifications, and project requirements. The ideal candidate will handle material take-offs, subcontractor and vendor coordination, bid preparation, and value engineering while collaborating with project managers, clients, and leadership to ensure competitive and compliant bids. Key Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates by reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents Perform material take-offs and develop bid packages Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for pricing Analyze project scope, risks, and ensure accurate, competitive bids Collaborate with project teams and participate in pre-bid meetings Support value engineering, contract negotiations, and cost tracking Requirements 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction xywuqvp estimating Strong knowledge of construction methods, cost analysis, and blueprint reading Experience with subcontractor/vendor coordination Proficiency in estimation tools (Bluebeam, BuildingConnected preferred) Good communication, organization, and multitasking skills Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
