SENIOR DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNTING AND CONSOLIDATIONS
$200,000-$215,000k + bonus + LTIP
Our client, a growing publicly traded company is looking to hire a Senior Director of Accounting and Consolidations, which is open due to company growth. The company is financially sound, known for providing tremendous professional growth and development opportunities, and the team is comprised of smart, passionate, team oriented, and talented individuals. The Director of Accounting and Consolidations will lead a team of 3 direct reports and have high exposure to "C" level leadership.

Senior Director of Accounting & Consolidations Primary Responsibilities include:
Oversee all month end deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency
Manage the consolidation process including the review of consolidation and elimination of intercompany transactions, investment in subsidiary equity and other related transactions
Support the Financial Reporting team with preparation of various footnote disclosures to the quarterly financial statements
Prepare monthly statement of cash flows in accordance with US GAAP
Add value by identifying opportunities, recommending, and implementing process improvements
Own and maintain the chart of accounts and the legal entity hierarchies
Liaison with external auditors and coordinate annual financial statement audit
Ensure financial statements are in accordance with US GAAP
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and off shoring
Assist CAO with technical accounting, including joint ventures, business combination, etc.
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Director of Accounting & Consolidations:
12+ years of accounting experience.
3+ years of management/supervisory experience.
CPA required. Big 4 or 2nd tier public accounting experience a plus.
Public company exposure
Excellent communication skills; able to quickly establish a personal brand within the organization to drive cross functional collaboration
Salary: $200,000-$215,000k + bonus + LTIP
