Westminster Title Agency, a Toll Brothers company, is seeking an Escrow Assistant to join our title and settlement office in Irvine, California. Assist escrow officers to facilitate closing process to include coordination and communication between all parties to transaction, obtain and/or prepare all closing documents necessary to effectuate settlement, prepare the closing statement, lender, attorney, seller and or purchaser documents as necessary and allowed by local, state, and federal law. Will also disburse, balance and post close files after closing. This position is onsite 5 days per week. Assist Sr. Escrow Officers or Escrow Officers in Branch to facilitate closing process to include: Coordination and communication between all parties to transaction Obtain and/or prepare all closing documents necessary to effectuate settlement Prepare the Closing Statement (HUD), lender, attorney, seller and/or purchaser documents as necessary and allowed by local, state and federal law Conduct closings as allowed by local, state and federal law and local custom Disburse, balance and post close files after closing Other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time Does this describe you? Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to follow established guidelines, policies and procedures Detail Oriented, good time management skills and works well in a team setting Essential: At least 1 to 3 years work related experience Escrow certification may be necessary in some states; ability to obtain Notary Public Certification The salary for this position is $23.45 - $31.00 an hour.
