Shop Helper
We are seeking a versatile Shop Helper to join our dynamic team. This role involves a variety of tasks including putting materials away, unloading shipments, cycle counting, assisting with inventory, supporting production activities, emptying garbage, maintaining cleanliness in the shop, and performing miscellaneous duties as needed. Responsibilities Put materials away and organize the shop Unload shipments and assist with inventory management Perform cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy Support production activities as needed Maintain cleanliness by emptying garbage and cleaning the shop Assist with miscellaneous duties as directed Essential Skills Experience with hand grinding and hand tools Proficient in the use of power tools Mechanical aptitude Material handling, production, and forklift operation Ability to read a tape measure Experience with cycle counting Additional Skills & Qualifications Forklift experience is advantageous Positive attitude and adaptability to work in various areas Experience with metal finishing Why Work Here? The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The job involves lifting a grinder weighing 20-25 pounds throughout the day. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St Paul, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
