Job Posting Date July 31, 2024 Position Morning/Noon News Anchor – ABC Columbia News‑WOLO TV, Columbia, SC Overview ABC Columbia News‑WOLO TV is looking for an experienced anchor to host Good Morning Columbia and produce the Noon News. The role requires live studio and field reporting, newscast production, video editing, and content creation for the website and social media. Responsibilities Anchor, report, and produce newscasts for Good Morning Columbia. Lead the Noon News as both anchor and producer. Work with a production team to engage viewers and manage live segments. Independently produce newscasts, edit video content, and write copy for the website and social media platforms. Maintain high storytelling, production, and live broadcasting standards under tight deadlines. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years anchoring and producing experience. Degree in Journalism or Communications preferred. Excellent storytelling, live broadcasting, and production skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
