Position Overview
Stanley 1913 is seeking a highly motivated Strategic Account Manager to lead and grow our presence within the Sporting Goods Channel, with primary responsibility for the Academy, Dunham’s, Scheel’s and REI accounts . This role will manage the strategic relationship with these accounts, driving sales growth, optimizing assortment, and executing merchandising strategies that expand Stanley 1913’s footprint across the channel.
The ideal candidate is proactive and has strong experience managing large volume highly complex multi-channel retailers across the Sporting Goods Channel and understands the unique business needs and complexities within this channel.
This is a remote opportunity with candidates preferably based in or near Houston, TX.
What You Will Do
Implement the North American strategy and roadmap set by Commercial, Brand Partnership and Sales Leadership to grow the Stanley 1913 business within a channel
Achieve sales goals, margin targets, and sell-through for the accounts across the channel
Proactively find opportunities to improve brand presence, expand assortment, and drive sell-through in stores and online
Partner with leadership to explore and identify new opportunities within the channel
Ensure accurate and timely forecasting for accounts, and drive collaboration with Demand and Supply Planning teams
Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Consumer Experience teams to elevate Stanley 1913 brand presence and activations in accounts both Brick-Mortar and online
Who You Are
Minimum 7+ years relevant direct sales experience working for Consumer Goods brands
Strong knowledge of retail analytics; previous experience in buying, planning or key account sales is required
Previous experience working with large volume highly complex multi-channel retailers across Sporting Goods Channel is highly preferred
High level of collaboration
Proactive problem-solving approach
Excellent negotiator and relationship builder
Proficient with forecasting and order book management
Positive outlook with a Consumer first approach
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Experience presenting to small and large groups of people, consisting of internal and external customers at all levels
Time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead and track a budget

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
Salary Range
$130,000 - $145,000 USD
