About You
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Marketing Specialist to join our team, based either in New York, USA, or Toronto, ON, Canada. In this role, you will support Marketing & Events across the USA and Canada, working closely with the Global marketing team to drive local initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience in marketing within management consulting or professional services environments, with a strong focus on events, digital marketing strategies, and execution. This includes campaign management, content creation, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and optimise marketing campaigns across various channels to achieve business objectives.
Digital Marketing Strategies: Develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including managing social media, email marketing, SEO, and paid advertising campaigns aligned with business priorities and revenue goals.
Content Creation and Optimisation: Design, edit, develop and optimise content for print, websites, social media, and other marketing materials (e.g. podcasts, videocasts, blogs, whitepapers, social media, case studies). Collaborate closely with consulting teams to identify thought‑leadership opportunities and promote service offerings.
Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyse campaign performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend optimisation strategies.
Event Management: Drive internal and external events and strategies, including webinars, roundtables, and participation in industry conferences.
Marketing Automation: Oversee CRM and marketing automation workflows to ensure effective lead nurturing and campaign tracking.
Collaboration: Partner with global marketing teams to localise global campaigns for North America, and work with external partners to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
Staying Up‑to‑Date: Keep abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, including market research and competitor analysis.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
5–8 years of marketing and events experience, preferably within a management consulting or professional services firm, with a network of relevant vendors and agencies
Proven success in executing multi‑channel marketing campaigns
Strong analytical, communication, content marketing, and storytelling skills
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot)
Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
Strong knowledge of regulations and practices in the USA and Canada is a must
Good To Have
Experience in financial services and/or fintech industries
Experience in business development and/or sales enablement efforts
