Hybrid Content Strategist — SEO, Video & Growth

UDC is seeking a full-time Content Strategist to join our talented team. This individual will be responsible for content creation, distribution, and promotion to engage our target audiences. This role requires digital marketing expertise, content and SEO skills, video production experience, and team management to coordinate contributors, editorial, and social media plans. The Content Strategist reports to the Director of Marketing. The scope of this position includes: Facilitating the content marketing strategy Executing ongoing content planning and communications Managing day-to-day content production, processes, quality, and promotion Reporting results for content marketing initiatives Education and/or Experience BA in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. At least three years of experience in a related field. A background in marketing for technology or professional services is preferred. GIS or utility knowledge is a plus. What we look for from you Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in copywriting, proofreading, and editing. Experience with video production and coordination. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services. Computer Skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Experience with video editing and hosting software – Camtasia, Vimeo, YouTube Experience with Google Analytics Possess advanced graphic and link-building capabilities Experience with HTML and CSS structure Experience with WordPress website editing software Experience with Adobe – Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Stock Location This role follows a hybrid schedule, with 2–3 days per week based in our Waukesha, WI office. Compensation Range: $75,000-$87,000/annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
