Position Summary
Are you an aspiring marketing professional at the beginning of your career? Are you interested in learning how accurate market data, efficient systems, and strong operational foundations enable effective marketing strategies? We are seeking an energetic, self‑motivated Marketing Intern to support the marketing organization on operational marketing projects. This role will focus on assessing targets and markets in a technical B2B landscape, improving data accuracy to drive Account‑Based Marketing efforts, and assisting with a variety of smaller marketing projects across the team. The successful candidate will be detail‑oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with structured data. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to marketing operations and collaboration across teams.
Principal Responsibilities
Leverages a variety of public and proprietary sources and AI tools to conduct research on markets, target companies, and competitors.
Verifies and updates data in marketing systems, databases, and reports.
Assists in collecting, organizing, and maintaining marketing information and documentation.
Helps develop marketing materials, including collateral and presentations.
Helps coordinate the publication of campaign elements such as social media posts, blogs, and emails.
Participates in marketing planning and strategy formulation.
Handles routine marketing department inquiries.
Performs all related duties as assigned.
Education / Experience
Minimum of two years of school experience working toward a degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Communications, or a related field.
Coursework or experience involving data analysis, research, marketing operations, or process documentation preferred.
Strong organizational, written, and communication skills.
Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Self‑driven, proactive, and able to work independently with guidance.
Skills
Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in marketing or a related field.
Comfort working with spreadsheets, databases, or structured data sets.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Interest in learning how marketing operations support business strategy.
Abilities
Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds 5% or less of the workday.
Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday.li>
Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, and reason.
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
