Employer Industry: Higher Education Why consider this job opportunity: - Salary minimum of $16.50 per hour - Flexible schedule with a minimum of 5 hours and a maximum of 10 hours per week - Opportunity to build a portfolio and gain practical experience in photography and videography - Work under the guidance of experienced professionals in the marketing department - Contribute to storytelling and visual content creation for a vibrant campus community What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Capture photography and videography of Rec Well members, events, and programs - Obtain permission from subjects for use in marketing materials - Organize and maintain the digital library of photos and videos - Process images, including captioning and metadata application - Collaborate with the Digital Media Coordinator on various assignments What is Required (Qualifications): - Must be a registered UW-Madison undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing - Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills - Familiarity with digital cameras and photo/video editing software, including Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere - Ability to meet deadlines and work independently as well as cooperatively on projects - Excitement to build a portfolio and create storytelling content How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience producing photo and video content for clients, classes, or publications - Familiarity with processing RAW digital files and digital asset management - Experience in video recording and editing using timeline-based software #HigherEducation #Photography #Videography #StudentOpportunities #CreativeContent "We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
