We are looking for a Business Development Associate in the PGA TravelAds Sponsored Listing business. While you will support reactivation and optimization work, the core objective of this role is to build a pipeline, acquire new advertisers, and contribute to overall market growth. You will develop market‑specific strategies to reach a quarterly conversion target while producing industry‑leading results for your partners. You will uncover and implement revenue growth initiatives that are consistent with PGA Advertising strategy and deliver measurable value to the accounts you lead.
In This Role You Will:
Drive high volume outreach to build and maintain a strong pipeline of TravelAds advertisers across a wide range of markets.
Drive optimization conversations to ensure partners maintain optimal TravelAds campaigns.
Support reactivation efforts to bring lapsed advertisers back onto the platform.
Engage with partners to understand their business needs and goals while developing effective marketing strategies to achieve those goals.
Develop market‑level sales strategy to grow the Expedia TravelAds business within the PGA Organization.
Utilize analytics skills to understand performance data and trends to then make forward‑thinking suggestions through analyzing trends. Uncover high return on investment opportunities and present them to clients.
Educate partners on the features and functionality of the product so they can best utilize it independently.
Lead the launch and on‑going day‑to‑day performance of advertising partnerships and resolve issues as they arise.
Deliver continued improvement in revenue contribution through a consultative partner‑first sales approach.
Maintain and grow partner base through account management and acquisition.
Build internal relationships and drive collaboration to meet mutually beneficial goals.
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly revenue goals as set by sales leadership.
Partner with other media sellers and client‑facing teams through Expedia, Inc. to achieve the best results possible for the company and partners.
Experience and Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in sales, account management, or related commercial roles.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and grow.
Developing understanding of sales techniques and customer engagement.
Some exposure to account management or customer‑facing roles is a plus.
Proficiency in English plus relevant market language(s).
The total cash range (inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target) for this position in Austin is $70,000.00 to $98,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $112,000.00, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Incentive plan performance above target will also earn more than the incentive target compensation amount.
