This is not a pure data role — it is a thinking-and-writing role built for someone who can interpret complex financial information and translate it into compelling thought leadership. You will work directly with the Head of Marketing to shape how private markets are communicated to investors. This role sits at the intersection of research, storytelling, and strategy — transforming data across private credit, private infrastructure, private equity, and venture capital into insightful, persuasive content. This is ideal for someone with 5+ years of experience in financial services who has developed a strong voice in market commentary, research writing, or investment communications.ResponsibilitiesWrite and develop white papers, market commentaries, and long-form thought leadership piecesTranslate complex index data and performance analytics into clear, compelling narrativesAnalyze private-market and public-market index data (Bloomberg, MSCI/Burgiss, Cliffwater, etc.) to inform content strategyStructure asset allocation comparisons and return analyses to support investor educationResearch industry trends, competitor positioning, and product landscapesCollaborate closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align messaging with strategyGenerate original insights that strengthen the firm’s content engine and brand authorityQualifications5+ years of experience in copywriting for financial services (asset management, alternatives, investment research, investment banking, or similar)Demonstrated experience writing market commentary, research reports, white papers, or investor-facing contentStrong ability to synthesize financial data into engaging narrativesAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsFamiliarity with index data and performance datasets (Bloomberg, MSCI, Cliffwater, Burgiss, etc.)Intellectual curiosity about private markets and long-term capital formationStrong editorial judgment and attention to detailComfortable working onsite 4 days per week in NYCWhy JoinDirect mentorship from a senior marketing leaderMeaningful exposure across private credit, private equity, venture capital, and infrastructureOpportunity to build a visible, substantive thought-leadership portfolioClear pathways for internal growth and expanded strategic influenceBe part of shaping how private markets are communicated to modern investors #J-18808-Ljbffr
