Senior Estimator Precision Metal Fabrication
Are you an experienced estimator with a strong background in precision metal fabrication, machining, and welded assemblies? This Senior Estimator role plays a key part in driving accurate, competitive pricing for complex manufacturing projects. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and sales to support business growth and ensure profitability. The ideal candidate brings deep process knowledge, strong analytical skills, and experience with government-compliant cost submissions. Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Senior Estimator Key Responsibilities
Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates Break down complex assemblies into material, labor, machine time, subcontracting, and overhead costs Prepare TINA- and FAR-compliant cost data and certified pricing documentation Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and program management to validate assumptions Support proposal reviews, pricing audits, and process improvement initiatives Schedule: MondayFriday standard business hours; flexibility may be required based on proposal deadlines. Pay: $75,000 $90,000 annually, based on experience. 3-5% annual bonus Senior Estimator Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of estimating experience in precision metal fabrication, machining, or welded assemblies Experience producing TINA-compliant cost data and supporting certified pricing submissions Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Infor Syteline, and estimating platforms such as Paperless Parts Strong understanding of CNC machining, welding, assembly, coating, and inspection processes Benefits
