This role owns solution architecture and design decisions, mentors delivery team members, and ensures high-quality outcomes across ARCS and FCCS initiatives. The consultant brings deep accounting domain knowledge, strong Oracle EPM expertise, and a focus on close and reconciliation process transformation. Skills/Experience: 4+ years of Oracle EPM experience with multiple ARCS and FCCS implementations Senior-level hands-on expertise in ARCS and FCCS Strong accounting knowledge including close, consolidation, intercompany, and reconciliations Experience leading design workshops, UAT, and production cutovers Ability to communicate effectively with finance leadership and technical teams Required Skills:
Solution Leadership (ARCS & FCCS) Lead end-to-end ARCS and FCCS implementations from discovery through go-live and hypercare Own solution architecture, design decisions, and best-practice recommendations Translate complex accounting and close requirements into scalable EPM solutions ARCS Architect reconciliation strategies including formats, profiles, rules, and tolerances Design and oversee auto-reconciliation and transaction matching solutions Define workflows, approvals, controls, and SOX-aligned audit compliance Guide finance teams through manual-to-automated reconciliation transformation Act as escalation point for reconciliation and close-related issues FCCS Lead FCCS design covering COA, dimensions, and hierarchy strategy Design consolidation logic, eliminations, intercompany, and ownership management Review and validate consolidated financial statements and close outputs Optimize FCCS performance and close cycle efficiency Integration & Data Strategy Architect and oversee EPM Data Integration / FDMEE solutions Design data flows from Oracle ERP Cloud, boundary systems, third party applications Ensure data quality, reconciliation integrity, and automation Collaborate with ERP and Data teams on upstream and downstream dependencies Stakeholder Management & Delivery Act as primary EPM advisor to Controllers, Accounting leadership, and Finance Transformation teams Lead design workshops and executive walkthroughs Manage scope, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones Support UAT, cutover planning, and production readiness Mentorship & Governance Mentor and share knowledge with team members Establish implementation standards, documentation, and best practices Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit expectations, and governance models Drive continuous improvement post go-live Anticipates close and audit risks proactively Owns design decisions and delivery outcomes Provides strategic guidance beyond system configuration Elevates both client and delivery teams Desired Skills:
Oracle EPM Cloud certification (FCCS and/or ARCS) Experience with large, global, multi-entity implementations Prior role as Lead Consultant or Solution Architect Experience with Task Manager and close orchestration Degree Requirements: Certification Requirements:
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
4+ w/Bachelors degree Experience designing and developing highly scalable and secure Applications and Products BS in computer science or equivalent technical field or equivalent work experience. MS is a plus. Experience with developing and deploying applications on Azure or similar cloud platform
