Looking for a high level
functional SAP consultant
that can serve as a design lead on complex projects. Areas of expertise need to include LE, SD, MM. Focus areas of knowledge should include transportation, shipping execution, freight costing/invoicing, warehousing. Candidate should be familiar with
idocs
and their mapping through middleware, and downstream EDI processes (and vice versa).
Seeking a functional resource that can debug and write pseudo code as well as communicate well with business users to refine requirements is a must.
Requirements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to ramp up quickly in highly customized, highly integrated SAP environment Read and Write complex SAP functional specs, as well as middleware mapping docs Must be willing to learn and work in other tangential systems to
SAP, webMethods/Fusion, Blue Yonder TMS Leading and coordinating multiple complex projects simultaneously with limited direction Working directly with business leaders and acting as a business process analysis lead Understand, design, build, implementation and sustain best practice solutions Analyzing and understanding complex user information flows and business data to support decision making and the ability to effectively present the information Execute proof of concept testing in a cross team environment to validate design assumptions Configure SAP SD/LE /MM and other Deliver related applications to enable defined business processes and complete configuration documentation Define and document functional specifications for custom developed applications based on business requirements Perform testing to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the solution Ensure the business group's needs are being met and that assignments are delivered on time by participating in project/planning meetings and communicating regularly with team and management Technical skills to include understanding and debugging ABAP code, troubleshooting inbound/outbound delivery, picking, packing, PGI issues
