Child Care Executive Director

Child Care Executive Director Children's Center at the College of SI - Supervision and administration of all aspects of DOH Licensed Early Childhood and Child Care Program for children ages 6 months to 5 years. Required: Bachelor's degree in education and 6 years related experience; NYS certification Birth 2nd grade, administrative experience in a diverse setting. Preferred: Master's degree in Early Childhood Ed or related field, 2 years administrative experience, 5 years as Early Childhood teacher; strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to ensure compliance with licensing and NAEYC and Quality Stars guidelines; experience with grant writing and management, budgeting and financial management. Director is employed by a non-profit corporation that supports activities at the College. AA/EOE Compensation and Benefits: $ 84,000 - $ 99,000; single health insurance; paid holidays, vacation and sick; participation in pension plan after two years of full-time employment.
