Segment Marketing Specialist
The Segment Marketing Specialist fulfills the strategic marketing needs of assigned lines of business. This position coordinates marketing tactics collaboratively and cross-functionally with marketing and communications teams, and other departments to fulfill plan deliverables across channels on time and on budget. Works to develop an understanding of segment behaviors, industry trends, and the competitive landscape. How you will spend your time: Assists segment team in the execution of marketing tactics that help the LOB meet their objectives. Ensures key strategic messages are communicated effectively and consistently across marketing channels Acts as project manager, guides execution of marketing tactics through the Creative, Marketing Operations and External Communication/Content teams, and/or external vendor ecosystem to meet business strategic objectives. Collaborates with sales, product and operational teams as appropriate, to assist with planning & development of new and evolved products, platforms, and delivery channels. Supports execution of small to mid-scale customer events, including invitations, registration, post-event communication and Salesforce tracking, consulting with corporate events manager as needed. Supports tracking and measurement of marketing initiatives and supports marketing team in interpreting results to provide insights and meaning to evolve and refine marketing strategy and recommendations. Assists with budget tracking and submitting marketing invoices. Other duties as assigned. We're excited to talk with you if you have: 3+ years of experience in marketing or communications, or relevant experience Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent experience Professional Services background desired Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Project management experience Assisted with/been involved in the strategic planning process. Experience with interpreting KPIs and analytics for strategic decisioning and guidance. Has assisted with/been involved in using segmentation in marketing planning. Experience with variety of marketing distribution channels (multi-channel marketing) Demonstrates editing, written and verbal skills. Detail-oriented with exceptional organization skills/successful prioritization (ability to multi-task). Project management skills drive a project from beginning to end.
