Our client, a leader in supply chain and logistics services, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customs Entry Clerk to join their team. As a Customs Entry Clerk, you will be an essential part of the Customs and Compliance Department, supporting the seamless processing of import and export shipments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to compliance, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Customs Entry Clerk Location: McAllen, TX Pay Range: $15.00 Shift: Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM What's the Job? Prepare and process import and export documentation in compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, including Entry, AES, and In-Bond filings. Demonstrate proficiency with CBP Forms 3461, 7501, and 7512. Review and verify all shipping documents, such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading. Communicate with U.S. Customs, freight forwarders, carriers, and clients to resolve discrepancies or documentation issues. Maintain accurate records of all customs entries and ensure timely submission. What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with ABI in the RB or a similar customs system. Previous experience in customs brokerage or customs entry processing. Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and import/export procedures.
