About the Role The MedscapeLIVE! producer is a key contributor to the overall success of the Live Business Unit. The producer oversees live events both domestically and globally. Key responsibilities include multitasking, organizing, budgeting, producing, editing, and directing live events. The role is client-facing, collaborating directly with clients and on-site talent, managing pre‑production workflows, and representing the team during high‑profile events. What You’ll Do Manage multiple projects simultaneously domestically and internationally Produce and edit videos across all Live Business Unit verticals Produce/direct live and simulcast webinars and virtual conferences Expertise in multiple streaming platforms (Zoom, ON24, Engagez, Vimeo, VMix) Oversee and produce the setup of symposiums domestically and globally to ensure all technical requirements are in place Multitask while working with outside vendors to produce live events and conferences Work with outside vendors for robotic camera systems utilized at conferences/sympos/visual shoots Develop partnerships and relationships with high‑end production companies Work with senior leadership to promote innovation in the healthcare space Apply organizational skills for tracking event timelines and budgets, expertise in Excel and Microsoft Suites, Workfront, Smartsheet, and other organizational tools Who You Are Highly organized and thrives under pressure in fast‑paced environments Willing to travel at least 40% of the time, including weekends and off‑hours Pro‑active, innovative thinker who can incorporate new ideas into events Strong team player who tackles challenging projects with a positive attitude Comfortable with Zoom, VMix, On24, Vimeo, and other streaming platforms Effective communicator who works well with medical professionals Self‑starter passionate about producing high‑quality live events and video productions that support the business and its vision while meeting key engagement metrics Adaptable to change quickly while collaborating with clients and internal business units Hands‑on troubleshooting skills (MacGyvering) for in‑person or virtual issues Detail‑oriented, quality‑driven, and energized by producing events that make a meaningful impact Qualifications Experience producing productions at conferences and symposiums in conference centers/hotels and other venues Streaming experience (Live Stream, VMix, Vimeo, ON24, Zoom) on hybrid projects/events Excellent organizational and pre‑production skills Exceptional knowledge of video producing and editing (Adobe Suite) After Effects experience is a plus Experience setting up and directing shoots in studio and on location Experience setting up and controlling robotic cameras and SLR cameras Demonstrated experience in video production and post‑production for the web Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally globally Experience producing and editing marketing initiatives and sizzle reels 6+ years working in multimedia/live events producing compelling events and content Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000.
