We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Produce Clerk to join our team at our Jacksonville location. The Produce Clerk will be responsible for maintaining the quality and appearance of fresh produce, assisting customers, and ensuring the produce department operates efficiently. Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and stock fresh produce items in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce department. Monitor product quality and remove any damaged or spoiled items. Assist customers with questions and provide excellent customer service. Rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with team members to meet department goals. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in produce or grocery retail is a plus. Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. This position requires standing for extended periods and working in a refrigerated environment. The Produce Clerk will work closely with other store staff to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
