Traveling Superintendent - Multifamily
We are a full service general contractor and multifamily housing developer serving the Southeast and Texas. Since 2005, we have focused on building quality communities through services that include general contracting, construction management, design build, and pre and post construction support. Our work spans multifamily housing, build to rent, affordable housing, commercial projects, renovations, and historical preservation, with an emphasis on safety, quality, compliance, and strong client relationships that deliver projects on time and within budget.
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee multifamily construction projects across various locations. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards, while maintaining effective communication with on-site teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of multifamily construction sites Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and labor resources Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports Manage project budgets and forecasts Assist in resolving any on-site issues or challenges Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, and project managers Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control standards are met Qualifications
Proven experience as a Superintendent in multifamily construction Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and building codes Excellent leadership and team management skills Ability to travel frequently to project sites Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred Benefits
