This is a full-time, exempt position.

Job Summary Under the direction of the Associate Athletics Director for Strength and Conditioning, this position serves as the Director of Sports Performance and is responsible for developing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for Men’s Basketball and other assigned sport programs.
Responsibilities include assisting with the daily operations of the strength and conditioning facility, supporting departmental initiatives, and collaborating with sports performance staff to enhance student‑athlete performance, reduce injury risk, and support return‑to‑play efforts. This position operates in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented Division I athletics environment and requires strong communication and collaboration across coaching, sports medicine, and administrative units.
Key Qualifications
Knowledge of strength and conditioning programs.
Knowledge of sports‑related health and safety standards.
Interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with coaches, student‑athletes, and staff.
Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to promote and ensure safety, cleanliness, and risk management in a weight room setting.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary performance team.
Education and Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in collegiate strength and conditioning (football and/or basketball preferred).
CSCS (NSCA) or CSCC certification required (per NCAA guidelines).
CPR/AED certification required.
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing effective strength and conditioning programs.
