Global Area Director - Agricultural Equipment Sales

Join Kverneland International as an Area Director! Kverneland Group, as part of the sales organization, is responsible for the sales via distributors in regions worldwide. To succeed as an Area Director, you have experience working in the agricultural machinery business, customer focus, have good communication and negotiation skills, enjoy working independently from an office or out in the field, build long-term relationships with your customers, and work towards challenging goals for your region. You will be responsible for creating both country strategies and activity plans for your region and to schedule, execute and follow-up. Your main focus will be to increase our presence in the markets for all product lines, increase market share and brand visibility by establishing and developing long-term relationships with the distributors. You will have profit responsibility for your region and report the General Manager of Kverneland Group International You will be part of a sales team of 15 people including support functions.

KvG International - Main tasks : Global Sales & Product Support Act as the central support entity for Kverneland Group branded implements and services in all regions not covered by a dedicated KVG Sales Company. Importer Relationship Management Maintain, strengthen, and actively develop long-term relationships with KVG Importers to ensure business continuity and growth. Sales & Marketing

Coordination Plan and coordinate sales and marketing activities for both implements and spare parts, ensuring alignment with Divisions, our Kverneland Group strategy and marketing guidelines. Business Development Identify, evaluate, and establish new business opportunities, including new importers and new market entries. Credit & Cash Collection Oversee credit management and central cash collection for all assigned importer markets, ensuring compliance and financial discipline. Internal Factoring Function as the internal factoring organization for KVG Group entities within the AS Division and the OEM business

Key Assignments : Drive Sales growth and Market share. Planning and monitoring Importer sales activities/sales targets. Marketing planning and co-ordination with importers. Co-ordination between factories and importers.

Service and Product support.

Receivable management. Your Tasks : Coordinate country strategy for the total business and business development markets in alignment with overall market strategy. Select distribution model
etwork in close dialogue with the individual importer. Product development in close dialogue with divisions. Optimize and Motivate the distribution network, select and develop the business partners. Overall business planning and monitoring with the distributors –Forecast & Production planning. Sales targets, SOM, key focus & priorities, marketing planning, actions. Involve and engage the different KVG product management teams. Sales budget, align with PMs/Division, same for monthly forecasts. Follow-up the business performance of the distributors and take corrective actions. Support cash/receivable management (Payments and agreements). Setting trading terms and conditions based on common KVG policy, include credit lines, payment terms etc. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Agriculture, Engineering or Business Administration. At least 5 years in international Sales, ideally also with experience in Sales and Product Management. Profound practical knowledge in agriculture and agricultural machinery. Fluent business English spoken and written, understanding of the Spanish language or willing to learn, other languages are a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills, trustworthy with customers. Outgoing personality, but also enjoys working independently. Willing and able to travel frequently >100 days per year. Travel may be required in weekends as well. #LI-DNI
