As a well-established force in transportation, bridge, highway, and heavy civil construction, we're growing our Raleigh team and looking for a sharp Estimator to take on projects ranging from $3M to $45M. Responsibilities
Analyze bid documents and interpret civil construction plans Execute quantity takeoffs and build out complete project scopes Define subcontractor needs, meet DBE goals, and flag constructability concerns Uncover value engineering opportunities and manage pre-bid owner coordination Build and submit complete bid packages and project schedules Guide and support junior team members Some local travel required with occasional weekend availability Qualifications
4–7 years in civil construction estimating Familiarity with DOT work — NCDOT experience highly valued Hands-on experience with highway, earthwork, bridge, or utility projects Proficiency in HeavyBid or comparable estimating platform Degree in construction management or related field a plus What's in it for you
