Accountabilities

Manage and develop a team of engineers, including performance and career growth

Own the team's Jira board end-to-end: backlog grooming, ticket intake, sprint planning, and velocity tracking

Balance feature delivery against platform health and technical investment

Drive the roadmap for a legacy-forward .NET portfolio while planning modernization

Lead efforts toward current engineering standards: CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, improved secrets management

Champion documentation, testing, logging, and observability where gaps exist

Serve as a capable technical partner, able to read logs and interpret system behavior

Step in hands-on during production incidents to triage and drive resolution

Requirements

Proven experience managing software engineering teams

Hands-on background in .NET development (C# preferred; VB.NET familiarity a plus)

Comfort owning systems you didn\'t build, including legacy code with limited docs

Experience modernizing engineering practices: CI/CD, containerization, observability

A bias toward ownership and learning over avoidance

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience

Proven experience with 5 or more years as senior engineer, or manager

Experience with project management capable of planning and implementing complex projects

Ability to supervise a team located in various time zones

Experience planning backlog and prioritizing competing priorities

Salary Range: $165,000 - $175,000
