Corpay is currently looking to hire a Business Development Associate . This position falls under our Cross Border line of business and is located in New York City . In this roleyou’llcollaborate with a high-performing and seasoned sales team to foster new business opportunities in North America within the foreign exchange arena, delivering industry leading currency risk management and global payment solutions to Small-medium sized businesses across thecontinent.You will report directly toDirector of Business Developmentand regularly collaborate withaccountmanagersandother sales team membersto deliver currency risk management and global payment solutions.
How We Work
As a Business Development Associate, you will be expected to work ing our New York City office. Corpay will set you up for success by providing :
Assigned workspace in the New York City office
Formal, hands-on training
Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Positioning your conversationstowards business owners, C-suite executives, and finance leaders, whereyou'llarticulate customized solutions for their currency risk management and global payment needs.
Collaboratingwith a high-performing and seasoned sales team to foster new business opportunities in North America within the foreign exchange arena
Responsiblefordelivering industry leading currency risk management and global payment solutions to Small-medium sized businesses across the continent.
Executingdaily outreach to potential businesses, engaging in cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn messaging to either qualify and book meetings with new leads, or disqualify them as needed
Creatingnew business opportunities for the firmwhile simultaneouslyadvancingyour sales skills and career within the dynamic field of foreign exchange and financial services
Qualifications & Skills
0-4 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or similar position.
Post-secondary education or relevant work experience.
Highlyself-motivated and competitive with a strong drive to generate new business opportunities.
Intuitive and Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit in your approach to finding new business opportunities.
Inspired by the work you do, the goals you achieve and the opportunities you create.
Open to picking up the phone/aren’tafraid of rejection.
A strong willingness to succeed with the desire to further your career in sales.
A high degree of self-motivation andthepassion for achieving results.
Excellent time management, written, verbal andprospectcommunicationskills.
A positive mindset.

The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. The estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is USD $55,000 to $66,300.
