This role is ideal for a seasoned

Production Artist

with deep experience in

consumer packaging . You will be responsible for taking existing creative concepts and turning them into accurate, production-ready packaging artwork suitable for print and other media. The Senior Packaging Production Artist partners closely with design teams, production art project managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that every file meets technical specifications, adheres to brand standards, and is ready for flawless execution at the printer. What You Will Do

Translate established global packaging concepts into final production artwork for a wide range of projects—from straightforward layouts to complex, multi-component programs. Structure and build files according to defined production standards so they align with business and design expectations and are easily understood by downstream partners and vendors. Maintain strong artwork consistency and content accuracy within defined brand guidelines, with particular focus on layout, typography, imagery, and hierarchy. Manage and execute

multi-SKU packaging systems , ensuring that versions are handled efficiently and remain visually and technically consistent across all variations. Apply and uphold style guides and packaging production standards, contributing to continuous improvement and process optimization throughout the artwork lifecycle. Prepare clean, accurate final art files for print, digital, and packaging applications, ensuring they meet printer specifications and are press-ready. Use an advanced understanding of color, including CMYK vs. RGB, spot colors, global colors, and Pantone systems, to achieve reliable color reproduction in final output. Work confidently with packaging-specific elements such as die lines, net contents, regulatory and warning statements, and printing methods. Collaborate with production art project managers and other internal partners to gather requirements, troubleshoot artwork issues, and deliver on schedule. What Success Looks Like

Flawless, print-ready packaging files that meet all technical, regulatory, and brand requirements. Consistent execution across global packaging, even for large, complex, or multi-SKU programs. Proactive identification and resolution of artwork and production issues before they reach the printer. Preferred Profile

Demonstrated background as a

Production Artist

or

Packaging Production Artist

in the consumer goods or packaging space. Expertise building and prepping files against defined die lines and technical specs for packaging. High level of accuracy with legal/regulatory copy, net content statements, and multi-language layouts. Ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders in a deadline-driven, collaborative environment. This position is primarily onsite in Maplewood, MN, with an expectation of 4 days per week in the office to support close collaboration with design, project management, and business partners.
