We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic events team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in the fast-paced and exciting events industry. As an Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various events ranging from corporate conferences to social gatherings. Responsibilities
Assist in the coordination and execution of events from start to finish. Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and venue representatives. Assist in managing event budgets and tracking expenses. Support the logistics and setup of event venues, including equipment and materials. Prepare and distribute event materials such as agendas, invitations, and signage. Respond promptly to inquiries and provide outstanding customer service to clients and attendees. Assist with day-of-event coordination to ensure smooth operations and handle any issues that arise. Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in event management, hospitality, communications, or related field. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software is a plus. Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required for events.
