Fundraising Leader Opportunity
Are you a passionate fundraising leader looking to join an organization where you can make a difference? The Women's Resource Center (WRC) has been helping victims of sexual and domestic violence for over 40 years. The WRC is known as the area's primary service provider for domestic and sexual violence survivors, assisting residential and non-residential clients with support, advocacy, and immediate crisis intervention. The agency is also the acknowledged area expert on sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking, and annually provides approximately 150 public awareness, prevention, education, and awareness activities for allied professionals and agencies, civic groups, and schools. Our mission is rooted in compassion, empowerment, and justice, and we're growing our impact every day. Key responsibilities include: Leading the capital campaign, including planning, managing, and donor cultivation. Developing and implementing a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals. Setting annual revenue targets and tracking performance across all fundraising channels. Collaborating with executive leadership and board members to set organizational strategy. Overseeing grant research, writing, submission, and reporting processes. Building and maintaining relationships with potential funders. Designing and executing donor stewardship plans to deepen engagement and retention. Identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gift prospects. Maintaining donor database and ensuring accurate recordkeeping and reporting. Leading the planning and execution of annual giving campaigns. Developing compelling messaging and segmented outreach strategies. Analyzing campaign performance and optimizing future efforts. Planning and managing signature fundraising events, including logistics, sponsorships, and donor experience. Partnering with marketing and communications teams to align fundraising messaging across platforms. Representing the organization at public events, donor meetings, and community forums. About you: Proven track record in nonprofit fundraising, with prior experience in a leadership role. Experience managing grants, major gifts, and donor relations. Strong strategic thinking and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with donor management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Bloomerang, etc.) Ability to inspire and engage diverse stakeholders. Passion for the mission and values of The Women's Resource Center. Bachelor's degree in nonprofit administration or a related field.
