Operations Manager

SOSi is seeking an Operations Manager to join our Management Team to support our DOJ customer. Essential Job Duties include managing contract execution for a single customer agency across all locations throughout the United States, directly supervising subordinate supervisors, Office Managers, Project Directors, and Operations Supervisors supporting that agency nationwide, overseeing and/or directly performing all recruiting and hiring activities for the customer agency, executing the Contractor's quality control and training programs across all sites supporting the agency, maintaining consistent performance standards, recruiting and hiring supervisors in close coordination with the Agency Contracting Officer's Representative and the Contractor's Program Manager, approving hiring of all personnel within the agency's area of responsibility, serving as the primary Contractor point of contact for the agency's ACOR, QAEs, and Government stakeholders on contract performance, staffing, and technical matters, monitoring agency-specific performance metrics, ensuring compliance with task orders, and facilitating seamless transitions or phase-ins at agency sites, and reporting agency performance, staffing status, and operational issues to the Program Manager. Minimum Requirements include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR equivalent professional experience in contract management, law enforcement support, or legal/administrative services, at least five (5) years of progressive supervisory experience managing distributed teams supporting law enforcement or legal operations, minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in analytical processes, legal assistance, or related administrative support services, demonstrated ability to direct multiple concurrent tasks/projects across geographically dispersed locations, proven experience overseeing recruitment, hiring, training, and quality control processes in a contract environment, strong oral and written communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with Government representatives (COR, ACOR, QAE), attorneys, special agents, and contractor staff, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for assigned agency, and U.S. citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications include a Master's degree in business administration, public administration, criminal justice, or a related field, direct experience supporting asset forfeiture programs or similar law enforcement administrative services for federal agencies, prior experience managing federal government service contracts, particularly IDIQ or labor-hour contracts for DOJ or other law enforcement entities, familiarity with DOJ Consolidated Asset Tracking System (CATS), seized/forfeited asset processes, and relevant federal acquisition regulations, and experience with database management, automated office procedures, and performance reporting in a regulated, high-volume environment. Work Environment includes work being on-site, requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary, frequent travel between program operating locations, ability to work efficiently under deadlines and pressure, and ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
