Assistant Athletic Communications Director - Creative/Digital Media

East Texas Baptist University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Athletic Communications Director in Creative/Digital Media beginning in July 2026. This position is a full-time position with benefits. CREATIVE VIDEO/DIGITAL POSITION The selected candidate will design and schedule creative/digital projects for ETBU athletics. He/she will create strategies for the social media team accounts, be in charge of all the media days, set up video shoots, create hype videos and graphics, help oversee a creative student team, and take pictures/videos at ETBU contests. This person will also travel with select teams. This candidate will also help in other athletic communication areas. The selected candidate should also know how to perform CMS website maintenance and work with the Adobe Suite. A bachelor’s degree is required with a background in journalism, public relations, communications, digital media, or a related field.
