Position Summary The Marketing & Sales Coordinator is a hands‑on role responsible for executing day‑to‑day marketing and supporting new home sales for a long‑standing, semi‑custom home builder in the DeLand and West Volusia market. This individual will blend strong digital and community marketing skills with an understanding of the new home sales process, helping drive qualified traffic to model homes, communities, and build‑on‑your‑lot offerings. Success in this position requires deep familiarity with or strong connection to DeLand/West Volusia, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to review and act on basic performance data, and a willingness to be both in the office and out in the community representing the Gallery Homes brand. Reporting directly to the owner and partnering closely with the New Home Specialist, the Marketing & Sales Coordinator will play a key role in aligning marketing and sales efforts, maintaining a consistent brand presence, and contributing to the company's overall growth. Key Responsibilities Brand & Digital Presence Plan, create, and schedule consistent social media content (photos, videos, Matterport tours, etc.) across Instagram and Facebook, beyond the two baseline posts per month provided by the website/marketing vendor (Sprout). Keep all social channels active, engaging, and aligned with the Gallery Homes brand, monitoring comments, messages, and overall connectivity. Manage website updates (excluding pricing), working through Sprout for changes, SEO improvements, retargeting campaigns, and general site optimization. Coordinate with Sprout on Google and Facebook ad campaigns, ensuring alignment with community priorities and traffic goals. Monitor website performance and reporting, ensuring proper connectivity with the CRM and tracking numbers to assess campaign effectiveness. CRM, Tracking & Reporting Become the internal Resident Expert on the CRM (currently Monday), ensuring effective setup, usage, follow‑up processes, and reporting. Help design and enforce organized follow‑up workflows for leads from web forms, social media, events, and Realtor outreach. Implement and monitor tracking phone numbers for specific promotions and campaigns, reporting on call volume and lead quality. Coordinate and execute local events that drive awareness and traffic, including builder events, Realtor functions, and community activities. Own logistics for weekend directional signage to model homes and other events or community signage. Build and maintain an up‑to‑date database of Realtors who have and have not done business with Gallery Homes, and execute outreach (email campaigns, sponsorships, office visits, and special events). Represent Gallery Homes through involvement in organizations such as the Volusia Building Industry Association (VBIA), Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA), National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), and West Volusia Association of Realtors (WVAR), where appropriate. Develop and maintain an annual event calendar including WVAR, VBIA, Chamber, MainStreet, Rotary, and other key community and non‑profit events (e.g., Parade of Homes, Wild Game Feast, Black Tie & Blue Jeans, Toys for Tots). Network to identify local strategic partners, sponsorship opportunities, and community groups to align with the brand (e.g., MeStrong and Rotary). Meet weekly with the New Home Specialist to align on goals, inventory priorities, special promotions, and upcoming events. Participate in select buyer interactions early on to learn the sales process, understand buyer pain points, and better position Gallery Homes' value in marketing messages. Coordinate monthly meetings with Sprout to review digital performance, refine campaigns, and plan upcoming initiatives. Periodically assist with in‑model or community‑based sales and marketing activities as needed, especially during events or peak times. Content, Collateral & Budget Review, update, and maintain marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, signage, digital assets) to ensure accuracy and alignment with current offerings and pricing strategy. Help develop and manage an annual advertising budget in collaboration with leadership, making data‑informed recommendations on spend allocation. Launch and maintain a monthly or quarterly email newsletter to prospective buyers, Realtors, and partners, sharing new communities, inventory, and relevant updates. Explore and begin building a thoughtful presence on LinkedIn where appropriate for brand visibility and professional networking. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and hands‑on experience. 2+ years of experience in marketing, sales support, or real estate/homebuilding, ideally with responsibility for executing campaigns, events, and social media. Strong proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram), including content scheduling, basic analytics, and community engagement. Experience managing or working within a CRM (e.g., Monday or similar) to track leads, follow‑up activities, and reporting. Comfortable working with website content management and coordinating with external vendors on updates, SEO, and digital advertising. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with Canva or similar tools for simple marketing collateral; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear marketing copy, emails, and event or promo descriptions. Demonstrated ability to plan and execute events, manage logistics, and coordinate with internal teams, Realtors, and community partners. Highly organized with strong time‑management skills and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns, events, and follow‑up activities in a fast‑paced, small‑team environment. Data‑aware mindset with the ability to review basic reports (website traffic, social engagement, CRM dashboards, call tracking) and make recommendations. Deep knowledge of or strong connection to DeLand/West Volusia, with the ability to quickly learn local neighborhoods, community organizations, and key influencers. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and comfort being in the field at model homes, events, and community activities, including occasional evenings or weekends. Compensation, Reporting & Schedule Competitive base salary plus commission on every home sale. Reports directly to the owner, while working closely day‑to‑day with the New Home Specialist, as a unified sales and marketing team. Role is primarily on‑site and in‑market, combining office time, model home presence, and community/event activity; weekend flexibility may be needed for events and model coverage.
