Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for planning and executing blood drives in Manatee County to meet organizational goals while optimizing staff and resource utilization. This role involves building strong relationships with community groups, donor chairpersons, and sponsors to support blood donation events. The position requires analyzing donor activity, recruiting new donor groups, and collaborating with internal teams to drive participation and efficiency. The Account Manager will work within their assigned territory, including Hillsborough, Manatee, Desoto, Sarasota, and Charlotte counties, supporting SunCoast Blood Centers’ mission to enhance lives through blood donation. Qualifications

Education Associate degree in an appropriate field required. Experience Minimum of four years in account management, administrative operations, or blood banking. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Skills And Abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor management software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to analyze data, develop strategies, and meet established goals. Effective problem-solving and organizational abilities. Licenses/Certifications Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
