Description ESY Intervention Specialist — INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY
Job Summary The position in this posting will require the applicant to work up to 4 days per week, with a maximum of 3 hours per day, 8:30am - 11:30am. Session 1 Dates: June 1, 2026 through June 18, 2026. Session 2 Dates: July 13, 2026 through July 30, 2026. Hiring based on student enrollment.
Qualifications
Appropriate degree in education or related field.
Valid Ohio Department of Education license/certificate
Familiar with Reading Mastery, Unique Learning Systems and Connection Math Concepts
Has knowledge of behavior strategies
Has knowledge of TEACCH methodology that is used with students with autism
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively and work productively with all levels of District staff, students, parents and the general public.
The incumbent is also required to have effective verbal and written communication skills and be able to handle problem situations in a tactful, courteous and respectful manner.
Written and computer skills necessary to maintain required documentation.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
