Sales/Estimator – Asphalt & Concrete (Commercial Paving)
We are working with a well-established, highly reputable contractor in the asphalt and concrete space, known for delivering high-quality work and maintaining long-term client relationships across commercial and multi-site projects.
They are seeking a
sales-driven estimator
who can not only build accurate, profitable estimates, but also develop relationships, generate new business, and help grow the company’s footprint.
The Role This is a
hybrid sales + estimator
position focused on commercial paving and sitework projects.
You’ll play a key role in both pricing work and winning it, working directly with clients, walking job sites, and managing opportunities from first conversation through project execution.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys being client-facing, relationship-driven, and performance-based on earnings.
What You’ll Be Doing
Prepare detailed estimates for asphalt, concrete, and paving rehab work
Meet with clients onsite to assess conditions, scope, and project needs
Build and maintain relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial owners, and contractors
Identify and pursue new opportunities (in addition to inbound/warm leads)
Evaluate site conditions including grading, drainage, and milling requirements
Manage projects from bid through completion with a focus on profitability
Track pipeline and activity within CRM tools (HubSpot rollout in progress)
What They’re Looking For
5–10+ years of experience in asphalt, concrete, or paving estimating
Strong interest or proven ability in sales, business development, and client management
Experience with commercial paving, sitework, or municipal projects
Solid understanding of drainage, grading, milling, and field conditions
Hands-on field background (foreman, crew lead, or similar) highly preferred
Existing relationships within the local market is a major plus
Compensation
Bonus:
15% of gross profit
Higher earnings tied directly to estimate accuracy and project profitability
Flexible structure, can also be aligned to revenue for the right individual
Strong upside for high performers who can generate and close work
