Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for advanced Homeowner's Claims. Determines coverage, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for homeowners first party claims leading to the proper disposition. We are seeking an experienced Property Field Adjuster to join our team in Connecticut. Ideally, candidates will be based near the Shoreline area, as assigned field territory may vary depending on claim volume. This role involves handling first-party property claims, including losses related to water, fire, hail, wind etc. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of property claims experience, be comfortable with regular travel, and be proficient in Xactimate. Strong skills in coverage evaluation and policy interpretation are essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities
Builds functional relationships with both internal and external customers Applies a sound understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within authority limits Demonstrates sound understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company Demonstrates proficient estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on advanced first party homeowners claims Experience

Base compensation offered for this role is: Field Property Cons I: $53,500 - $77,800 Field Property Cons II: $56,000 - $82,500 Field Property Sr Cons I & II: $65,600 - $98,200 Annually and is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
