Overview
Community Engagement & Outreach VISTA - SE Ohio FB The Southeast Ohio Foodbank, a Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP), serves a 10-county region totaling 4,000 square miles. This region is home to high poverty and food insecurity rates exacerbated by access barriers, such as transportation, limited pantry hours, and a lack of resource consolidation. Our challenge is to reach neighbors where they are by supporting and empowering our member pantries and getting our programs out into the communities. As our VISTA member, your role will be to address community needs around accessibility and economic mobility by strengthening the HAPCAP for Health Market and Training Hub in three areas: workforce development, Community-driven assessments, and a Volunteer Training Program. You will formalize our workforce development programs, as well as volunteer roles and responsibilities. Join our team to play a meaningful part in combatting food insecurity! Responsibilities
