Strategic Sales Executive – Global Forwarding
Germany (Remote) | Full-Time
A leading global logistics provider is seeking a
Strategic Sales Executive
to join its
Global Forwarding division in Germany . This is a high-impact commercial role focused on
developing and closing strategic business opportunities with large multinational organisations . The successful candidate will be a consultative sales professional with strong experience in
air and ocean freight forwarding , capable of navigating complex organisations and building relationships at
senior executive level . Key Responsibilities Identify, develop, and close
new strategic business opportunities
within the freight forwarding sector Build and maintain relationships with
senior decision-makers (Director, VP and C-level)
within large multinational companies Analyse client supply chains and provide
tailored logistics and transportation solutions Manage and maintain a
robust sales pipeline
to meet or exceed revenue targets Utilise
CRM tools
to manage prospects, track opportunities, and ensure accurate reporting Lead internal
deal teams
to design complex supply chain solutions and commercial proposals Collaborate with
account management teams
to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new business Stay informed on
market trends, transport solutions, and supply chain developments Requirements Minimum
6 years’ consultative sales experience in Freight Forwarding (Air & Ocean) Proven track record of
winning and growing strategic logistics accounts Experience selling to
enterprise-level organisations and executive stakeholders Strong
negotiation and solution-selling skills Willingness to
travel approximately 50% Fluent German and English Preferred Strong commercial mindset with the ability to develop
tailored logistics solutions Experience working with
