Overview
Our client, a global leader in the industrial controls industry, is seeking a CAD drafter/designer to join their team. As a CAD Designer, you will be part of the Production Engineering Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in using CREO CAD software creating documentation for work in sheet metal and drafting complex assemblies of more than 200 pieces. This is a contract status role to start and could develop into a direct hire conversion. Only candidates from SE WI and the Milwaukee metro area will be considered. The client will not consider any candidates with visa or sponsorship requirements.

Key Responsibilities
3+ years of relevant mechanical CAD software (CREO, Pro/E, AutoCAD) design experience. Ability to manipulate large assemblies (>200 components) effectively. Read and interpret Engineering drawings and documentation and collaborate with the design team in a fluid design/test environment. Working knowledge of production part processes: sheet-metal, plastic forming, and machining manufacturing methods.
Requirements
Experience with power distribution equipment for 240-690V AC systems. Pro-E CAD modeling experience. SAP software experience.
