Overview
As a Rug Designer, you are the creative force behind our floor covering collections, designing the pieces that anchor the modern home. You will balance a mastery of large-scale composition with a deep understanding of weaving and tufting to create tactile, trend-forward products that are both artistic and market-ready. Key Responsibilities
Create original rug designs, border treatments, and large-scale compositions. Forecast and curate trend stories and color palettes for floor coverings. Build tech packs (tufting, weaving, knotting) to ensure design integrity. Partner with global vendors to solve technical and material challenges. Partner with leadership to balance creativity with SKU targets and brand success. Maintain and organize development samples both physically and digitally. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Textile/Fashion/Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related. 3+ years work experience in rug design, floor coverings, or other home textiles. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop (CAD, mappings, pattern repeats). Strong understanding of color theory, yarn blending, and rug-specific material selection (wool, PET, jute). Strong technical knowledge of rug construction, weaving processes, and manufacturing limitations. Please include your portfolio link or attachment with your application. Job Details
