This is an exciting position as an
SAP FICO Business Analyst
of a beloved brand that is known as one of the footwear industry’s most respected products. As an SAP FICO Business Analyst, you will report to the Sr. Director of IT and serve as an instrumental component of a vital team in the organization. In this role, you will:
Evaluate problems within the business structure and provide solutions by implementing software and business process changes by analysis, design, customization, and testing
Configure, implement, and support the company financial systems, processes, and reports
Work pro-actively with the business to understand the strategic direction and how to support the execution of the strategies most effectively
Engage with business teams within the area of responsibility to communicate and scope the functional IT plan aligned with overall IT plan

How you make a difference:
Support and improve BCS/BPS Consolidation Systems.
Support month-end financial closing, reporting, and consolidation.
Execute new projects (application design, development, quality assurance, testing, training, implementation, and support processes) to improve business process efficiency.
Monitor and resolve production issues and requests that are submitted by users through service requests (JIRA).
Plan and implement system configuration changes and coordinate all module and system integration testing in conjunction with the business users.
Create and organize functional design and documentation of business processes.
Working with teams that are geographically distributed and work across different time zones (EU, APAC, India, and US).
Manage IT Month-end tasks needed to support Finance processes.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What you bring to the table:
Work with stakeholders and end users to analyze, design, develop, modify, test, and implement software solutions and applications to satisfy MSA’s global business requirements in line with SAP’s Best Practice in Finance modules.
Work with the other IT Business Process functional teams, Application Development teams, and Technology Services teams on complex integration requirements.
Create functional design specifications for programs and coordinates on the development with technical teams.
Work on production support to resolve day-to-day business issues.
Successfully handle multiple projects, completing them on time and on budget while exceeding customer expectations.
Complete documentation of software solutions and SAP configuration according to departmental standards.
Research new technologies and functionality, making recommendations on their use.
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in FICO Financials including G/L Accounts, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Tax, Profit Centers, Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Validation/Substitution Sets, and Banking
13+ years of experience in SAP Finance
3+ years of experience/expertise in S/4 HANA Finance
Translation and Revaluation
Fixed Assets
Bill of Exchange (for EU)
Knowledge and experience in BCS and BW
Financial Consolidation and reporting
In-depth knowledge of the functionality of the SAP FICO modules, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Taxes, Product Cost Planning and Control (CO-PC), Material Ledger (CO-PC-ACT), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Accounts Receivables, Credit management, Accounts Payables, Bank Integrations, Project Systems (PS), Internal Order Accounting (CO-IM) and Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
Working knowledge of the integration points to all the other core SAP modules (SD, MM, PP)
Demonstrated ability to collect user requirements, design appropriate solutions and carry them through to implementation including integration testing and end user training
Solid verbal and written communication skills with the proven ability to sell concepts and ideas to a diverse audience and effectively communicate complex concepts to all levels of the organization
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, willingness to learn and openness to change
