
Product Specialist

The Product Specialist will be responsible for supporting and executing regional product management projects across Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. The role focuses on cooperation with global HQ and local distributors on key projects - new model planning, competitive analysis, local regulations as well as a strong involvement in the Connected Car Services (CCS) project and it’s rollout in the region. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, reporting and project management skills, as well as relevant experience in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
Work with the regional CCS Manager to support the launch and operation of connected vehicle services across the region, including rollout schedules, system readiness, and operational alignment.
Act as a link between product managers and CCS manager to secure seamless integration of connected car features into the overall product strategy.
Collaborate with Global HQ and local distributors on key projects in new model development, regulations pricing, ensuring alignment with regional market needs and strategic goals.
Support product planning, including model line-up definition, pricing analysis, and lifecycle management, conduct competitive analysis and market research to product and pricing decisions.
Monitor market trends, customer preferences, local regulations development, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for portfolio improvement.
Prepare management reports, presentations, and business cases for product and pricing projects.
Participation in Product and other events (local, international).
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field or relevant professional experience.
1–2 years of experience in the automotive industry — preferably within a headquarters, regional HQ, subsidiary, or large distributor environment, or relevant experience.
Understanding of automotive product management, market strategy and regulation compliance.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across diverse teams and cultures.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish or Korean is an advantage.
