We are seeking a
Product Marketing Specialist (Contractor)
to support the Product and Program Development (PPD) team. This role collaborates with multiple internal departments to help launch and enhance products and programs designed to elevate customer experience and strengthen sales and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can translate product updates into clear messaging for owners, members, and internal teams—ensuring smooth deployment of new product and program innovations. This position can be
fully remote , with no on-site requirement.
Responsibilities
Support product and program teams in the creative development, review, and approval of the Discovery Email Welcome Series.
Assist with creative brief development for Discovery direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing campaigns.
Partner with product, IT, and external web agencies on the creation and launch of the Discovery DTC pilot website.
Represent the PPD team in weekly refinement meetings, creative reviews, and briefing sessions with lifecycle and communications teams.
Evaluate when Discovery audiences should be included in broader campaigns and work with brand/digital partners to develop customized versions.
Support PPD Product Marketing in the development and execution of communication strategies for our client’s new product initiatives.
Manage new-owner gifting efforts related to our client’s product programs.
Support go-to-market planning for upcoming product enhancements, including Club program overhauls.
Maintain and update content on Discovery websites.
Partner with marketing teams to improve access to performance metrics for lifecycle and limited-time campaigns.
Qualifications
Experience in product marketing, program marketing, or a similar role.
Ability to manage multiple active projects in a fast-moving environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Comfortable working with creative teams, digital teams, and external agencies.
Detail-oriented with the ability to oversee messaging, communication cadence, and channel strategy.
Strong project management skills with an ability to adapt to shifting timelines.
