Chief of Staff

to operate as a strategic extension of the executive office. The Role This is a high-intensity, high-exposure role designed for a top-tier analytical operator. The Chief of Staff will work directly with the CEO to drive the company’s most critical strategic and operational initiatives. You will operate across altitude levels: from defining long-term strategic positioning to building the financial model that supports the next capital raise. The mandate requires intellectual rigor, structured thinking, and a bias for execution. This role is not coordination-focused. It is decision-support and delivery at the core of the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Development Partner with the Founder to refine strategic direction, market positioning, and long-term growth thesis Structure ambiguous problem spaces into clear hypotheses, decision trees, and executable roadmaps Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives spanning product, monetisation, partnerships, and geographic expansion Analytical Leadership Build and maintain financial models, scenario analyses, and capital allocation frameworks Develop structured analyses of competitive dynamics, platform economics, and unit-level performance Translate complex datasets into executive-ready insights that directly inform board-level decisions Scaling & Operating Model Design and institutionalise operating cadences, KPI frameworks, and performance dashboards Establish scalable processes across growth, product, and operations Identify structural inefficiencies and implement measurable improvements Capital Markets & Investor Engagement Architect investor materials, strategic narratives, and board documentation Support fundraising processes with rigorous financial modelling and data-driven positioning Serve as internal coordinator for investor-related analyses and diligence preparation Founder Sparring & Execution Act as a thought partner to the CEO on high-stakes decisions Drive prioritisation across competing initiatives Step into execution gaps to ensure delivery on mission-critical projects Candidate Profile 1 to 3 years of experience at a top-tier strategy consultancy (MBB preferred), bulge-bracket investment bank, leading PE/VC fund, or high-performing tech scale-up Outstanding academic background from a leading global university in Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and deliver concise, high-impact recommendations Strong financial modelling capabilities and comfort with data-heavy decision environments Experience working directly with senior leadership or founders in high-growth settings High intellectual horsepower combined with strong execution discipline Autonomous, self-directed, and comfortable operating with minimal oversight Exceptional communication skills in English; German is a plus Why This Role Direct access to Founder-level decision-making Broad mandate across strategy, finance, and operations Significant equity participation aligned with performance Opportunity to shape the institutional foundation of a scaling platform Environment that rewards clarity, ownership, and velocity
